The Dimitrie Cantemir Junior hostel was ready for use in October 2002 when the college courses started. It was established because many of our students are from neighbouring counties and they needed an adequate lodgement. There are sixty three rooms on five floors, each room sheltering three students and having its own bathroom.

Beside practical furniture, the students have the best microclimate conditions, as well as, a technical endowment which combines usefulness and functional aims, too. Provided with its own heating system, having water, gas and electricity meter, the student benefits of a personal checking device and an accurate control of expenditure. Each room has its own television set and Internet connection. Each student of Dimitrie Cantemir institution has the right to be lodged in the hostel. He/She needs to fill in an application form addressed to the Hostel’s Administrative Board. Accommodation is fulfilled in a chronological order until the places are completed.

The application’s approval means that the student is informed about the exact room he has got and he signs an agreement. The student living in the hostel must follow the internal regulations and pay the accommodation fee. The fee is 120 RON/month and the other payments for gas, water and electricity. The contract is renewed each year.
